Lauren M. Lynch Congratulations to Our ASU Graduate!

Lauren M. Lynch is a recent Arizona State University graduate who is passionate about public service and researching and addressing policy issues impacting residents of Arizona. Earning a Bachelor’s degree in Public Service and Public Policy, Lauren was able to apply her knowledge to the community through a range of work experiences in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

She interned at the City of Phoenix, Office of the Mayor Greg Stanton where she served as a constituent advocate, learning more about the issues that individuals face everyday in Phoenix and finding solutions to assist them. This experience encouraged her to continue her work in public service and policy because she believes that everyone should have equal access to resources they need to be successful and to achieve their goals.

Lauren is eager to continue her education and pursue a Master’s Degree in Public Policy in the fall of 2017. The Edwards & Petersen Scholarship will be used to assist Lauren in applying to graduate programs. She plans to dedicate her education, research, and future career to learning more about how to address various policy issues and creating effective policy legislation. She hopes that one day she can work for the United States federal government or perhaps run for public office.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys reading, cooking, volunteering, and working out. She also plans to spend more time perfecting her golf game and enjoying the beautiful Arizona climate.
